August of 2009 saw Metafocus’ second visit of the year to China to establish our official presence and also provide exporting companies with a seminar on how the internet can increase your business. It was a busy schedule but we met with existing customers, friends and organisations who were all pleased to see that Metafocus has begun in China.

After a week of visiting companies in the Shanghai area, we flew over to our new homeland of Chengdu in the Western Sichuan province. There we met with our friends at the EUPIC to sign the company documents and get the first look at our new China office. To celebrate this milestone in the Metafocus history, we announced our arrival with a hugely successful seminar on International Online Marketing.

Global Online Marketing Workshop - Improve your international online presence, Chengdu, China - August 4^th 2009

Co-organised by the European Union Project Incubation Centre in Chengdu, Metafocus talked about how the internet can help grow your business online with international internet marketing and a global website. Among the 20 companies attending the presentation were international high tech companies, software companies and large exporters, all looking to grow their business overseas.

Based in Chengdu, the Metafocus China office will be able to support the UK office with dedicated Chinese internet marketing and website design for both UK and Chinese customers alike.
